EXPANDED UNION FACILITY TO FEATURE DYNAMIC NEW BOTTLING LINE

As part of an expansion to its production facility in Union, MO - a multi-million-dollar investment that adds 55,000 square feet of manufacturing space - Pharma Tech is introducing to its operations a high-speed bottling line for the production of nutritionals and ingestible powders capable of producing 150 finished units per minute.  The 10-piece line is equipped with premium metal detection and weight inspection systems, and can take ingestible products straight through the bottle filling, labeling and case packaging process.

The new bottling line, which is capable of processing approximately 10,000 lbs. of material per hour, is scheduled to begin operation this summer.  It is housed in a production room built to International Organization for Standardization Class 8 ISO8/100,000 clean room standards.  Pharma Tech's Union facility expansion also includes the addition of a 20,000-square-foot building whose features include a new analytical and microbial lab.

CALL TO ACTION: PHARMA TECH LAUNCHES 'SUPPLY CHAIN SECURITY SYSTEM'

Sales professionals answering the Pharma Tech Sales Hotline have heard their fair share of exasperated pleas from healthcare executives on the other end of the line.  Pharma Tech has always carried a reputation for rapid, effective responses.  Now, in order to further minimize the timeframe between a customer's problem and Pharma Tech's solution, the company has launched its Supply Chain Security System.

Introduced following an analysis of incoming calls, the updated protocol creates a shorter path to Pharma Tech's Leadership Team for especially urgent matters.  Headed by CEO Tee Noland, the Leadership Team makes expedited recommendations to Pharma Tech's Technology Transfer Team, which then fleshes out a detailed plan of action, cost estimates, etc.  Upon the action's implementation, the Client Relationship Management Team provides regular follow-up reports to ensure that speediness never sacrifices satisfaction.

The analysis of inbound calls recognized these top reasons why pharma executives reach out to Pharma Tech:

  • They wish to rid themselves of chronic quality issues and/or poor delivery performance experienced with their current suppliers
  • They need to identify a reliable supply chain partner to embrace new technology and lead its implementation and commercial execution
  • They want to avoid significant internal capital expenditures, and instead put their resources towards revenue generating initiatives such as product development or sales/marketing
  • They want to divest underutilized manufacturing assets

Pharma Tech has been helping solve dilemmas such as these for more than 40 years, and has now formalized the process in an easy-to-manage system that helps clients streamline operations by addressing problems easily, early, and effectively.
