Show Time: Pharma Tech Hits the Road

for Three Trade Events

To continue professional development and further industry engagement, Pharma Tech representatives attended three expos this fall.

At Pack Expo and its concurrent sister-show Healthcare Packaging Expo, which took place mid-October in Chicago, Pharma Tech connected with equipment suppliers and collaborated with customers and suppliers on new projects. Garnering nearly 45,000 attendees and 2,500 exhibitors, including representatives from the 25 largest pharma companies, Pack Expo showcases the latest in packaging equipment and technology for a range of industries from food to healthcare to pharmaceuticals.

In November, Pharma Tech attended Supply Side West in Las Vegas, which highlights dietary supplements, beverages, personal care, and sports nutrition products and companies. The event was an ideal opportunity to connect with several potential customers in the nutritionals space, as well as meet with several of our current raw material suppliers.

Also in November, Pharma Tech attended the Private Label Manufacturer's Association (PLMA) show in Chicago. PLMA showcases private label (for example, store brands) food, healthcare, and houseware products. Almost 1,500 companies including 500 international companies participated in the show, where we met with existing and potential customers toward further expanding the company's private label manufacturing presence.

Pharma Tech in the News

Pharma Tech continues to be a trailblazer in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector and has published several thought leadership pieces relating to industry advancements.

Recently, Pharma Tech authored an article surrounding stick packs, outlining the many benefits of this packaging platform. The piece emphasizes the rise and enduring popularity of stick packs in pharmaceutical packaging thanks to their convenience, prospects for extended product shelf life, and portion control capabilities - among other benefits.

The piece was featured as a multi-page spread in Packaging Strategies magazine, a prominent packaging trade journal with a monthly print readership of nearly 50,000, as well as tens of thousands more website visitors each month. Click here to read the complete article.

Additionally, a thought leadership piece detailing the perks of strategic collaboration between brand owners and CMOs was published as a multi-page feature story in Pharmaceutical Processing magazine, a noteworthy pharma trade publication with a readership of over 28,000, as well as more than 160,000 monthly visitors to its partner site,

The overall premise of the piece is simple: The more brand owners bring reputable CMOs like Pharma Tech into the fold in terms of their manufacturing protocols, practices and processes, the more CMOs can not only perfect contract production procedures but also add their expertise about potential improvements that can be made.

At Pharma Tech, brand stewardship is paramount and central to our strategic vision and operational paradigm. We love when customers lean on our expertise as well as lend us theirs - the result, more often than not, is innovation that would not have come to fruition otherwise. The full piece can be read here.
